The TRAKTOR Control S4 is a cutting-edge 4-Channel DJ system featuring innovative Haptic Drive jog wheels. With new large motorized jog wheels providing haptic feedback in three modes, the Control S4 offers a unique and intuitive DJing experience.

The first mode, Turntable mode, allows the motorized jog wheels to spin according to the track tempo while the deck is playing. This mode provides a natural backspin feel and slip mat action via touch-sensitive top plates. The powerful torque of the jog wheels allows for a turntable platter feel on the rims for nudging the deck, and users can adjust the torque and start/stop times to their preference.

In Jog mode, users can experience traditional spin-to-nudge jog wheel behavior that speeds up or slows down the deck. The jog wheel resistance and start/stop times are adjustable for personalized control. Beat grid mode enables users to manually adjust the beat grid in TRAKTOR using the jog wheel.

The RGB LED Ring surrounding each jog wheel visualizes deck rotation in jog and turntable modes, track tempo, and deck selection (A and B in blue, C and D in orange). The high-resolution color displays provide essential information such as track ID, key and tempo, transport data, waveform strip with track position, phase meter, loop length and state, as well as control for Remix and Stem decks.

With the addition of Mixer FX, users can instantly apply one-knob effects and filters on each channel. There are 8 FX and 3 filter types to choose from, in addition to TRAKTOR deck effects. The Pro Mixer Layout features long-life Carbon Protect faders, a dedicated cue section on the top plate, and an adjustable crossfader curve. The Control S4 also includes 16 RGB pads for triggering Hot cues, loops, or samples.
